On 7 August 2025, the Project Management Unit organized a Capacity Development Activities Update and Knowledge Exchange Programme in Thimphu, Bhutan for the Responsible Parties.The event aimed to share insights from recent international training on Nature-based Solutions (NbS), document best practices that can be replicated in Thimphu and Paro, and foster cross-agency collaboration for localising NbS in Bhutan’s urban settings.
About 26 participants from the Department of Employment and Entrepreneurship (DoEE), Department of Human Settlement (DHS), Thimphu Thromde, and Paro Dzongkhag attended the programme.
The programme was supported by the Global Environment Facility in partnership with UNDP.
